Outfit of the day (ladies)

The sun is shining and it's not too hot or too cold. This means summer dresses! The example I'm going to use is ideal if you're apple shaped or rectangle shaped, but avoid it if you're pear shaped. As per usual, hourglass ladies can do what ever they like.

You will need:

1. A dress a bit like this: 

- The V-neck will be ideal for ladies who are rectangle shaped because the V in effect helps to create a visual waistline, while the flowing bottom of the dress helps to enhance this visual waistline. 

- When it comes to patterns and colours, try to go for upbeat colours and patterns (it is summer after all). Remember that white always looks good in the summer, so try to pick a balance between bolder colours and white.

2. Accessories:

- Go for smaller jewellery and accessories with this style of dress, as in the summer less often is more (unless you're out on the pull, in which case larger jewellery around the neck will catch the attention of men faster). 

- If your dress is lacking in colour, you can make a striking outfit by having one strong colour for all of your accessories and shoes. The navy blue pearls above would be a good example for this summer dress.

3. Shoes:

- You need to coordinate with the dress, so try to pick out shoes which pluck one of the colours in your dress out. If we're continuing the example above the shoes to the right would be a good choice.
